German Bellows and Shanghai Automotive jointly manufacture automotive air conditioners

The world's leading supplier of automotive air-conditioning and engine cooling systems, Germany's Bessi, and China’s leading automaker and supplier, Shanghai Automotive, held a grand groundbreaking ceremony for a new Shanghai joint venture plant, marking the two companies’ funding last year. The established joint venture company, Shanghai Bellow Thermal Systems Co., Ltd., entered the next phase of development. Bessie and the Chinese partner invest 50% each, and set up Shanghai Bellow Thermal Systems Co., Ltd. to develop, manufacture and sell air-conditioning and engine cooling products for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. The new plant in Pudong covers an area of ​​120,000 square meters and the entire project will be completed in two phases.
