According to Sun Guozhong, Vice President of Sales Division of Bosch Chassis Control Systems in China, the new plant in Chengdu, which will be laid today, covers an area of approximately 127,000 square meters, with a total investment of 137 million US dollars (approximately 880 million yuan). Among them, the first-phase project investment is 43.8 million US dollars (about 280 million yuan), and it is expected to be completed in early 2013. With a building area of 28,000 square meters, the plant will achieve an annual output of 1.4 million sets of ABS/ESP systems and 19 million sets of wheel speed sensors.
