Exhaust gas purification principle


Adsorption of organic waste gas using the adsorption characteristics of activated carbon micropores is one of the most effective means of industrial treatment. Honeycomb activated carbon has the advantages of stable performance, corrosion resistance and high velocity airflow impact resistance. The adsorption efficiency of organic activated carbon can be as high as 90% or more. Adsorption of activated carbon can be followed by hot air desorption and regeneration. After regeneration, activated carbon is put back into use. By controlling the desorption process, the concentration of organic waste gas can be concentrated 5-10 times. The desorbed air is heated to about 300° C. by the combustion bed of the catalytic bed, and it starts to ignite under the action of the catalyst. The purification efficiency can reach over 97%. After combustion, CO2 and H2O are generated and a large amount of heat is released. This heat is passed through a part of the heat exchanger in the catalytic combustion bed and then used to heat the desulfurized high-concentration exhaust gas. The other part is heated outside. The air is used as the desorbed gas for the activated carbon and generally reaches the desorption - the self-equilibrium process of the catalytic combustion must start the burner for about 1 hour.


When the heat balance is reached, the electric heating device can be turned off. At this time, the regeneration treatment system uses the organic solvent in the exhaust gas as a fuel, so that the regeneration process can reach a self-balanced cycle on the basis of no additional energy, thereby greatly reducing the energy consumption and generating no secondary pollution. The entire set of adsorption and catalytic fuel consumption processes are automatically controlled by the PLC.


Technical features


1. Adoption of adsorption concentration + catalytic combustion combined process, the entire system realizes a closed cycle of purification and desorption process, compared with the recovery of organic waste gas purification devices, no additional energy such as compressed air is required, and no secondary pollution occurs during the operation process. Low investment and operating costs;


2. Specially shaped honeycomb activated carbon is used as the adsorption material. Because its specific gravity is 8-10 times that of strip-shaped activated carbon, the organic solvent before regeneration can reach 25% of the total weight of activated carbon. It has long service life and low running resistance of the adsorption system. , high purification efficiency;


3, the use of high-quality precious metals palladium, platinum supported on the honeycomb ceramic as a catalyst, the catalytic combustion rate of more than 97%, long catalyst life, low decomposition temperature, short desorption preheating time, low energy consumption;


4. Using microcomputer centralized control system, the equipment operation and operation process are fully automated, and the operation process is safe, stable and reliable;


5. The use of a mist filter to filter small particles before the activated carbon adsorption bed ensures high purification efficiency and ensures the service life of the adsorption device.
