Therefore, the refrigerant for automotive air conditioners needs to be replaced on a regular basis, and it is generally better to replace them once every 2-3 years.

Compressor oil, like engine oil, is an essential product for automotive air-conditioning refrigeration. General compressor oil is PAG (polyether compound) as raw material, it must be completely compatible with R-134a refrigerant, with high temperature and pressure, and excellent flow characteristics. The main role of compressor oil in addition to providing lubrication for the compressor, but also has to provide lubrication for the inner wall of the pipeline to reduce the pressure loss of refrigerant flow, while protecting the metal from corrosion and the seal ring will not brittle aging and other great effects. Just like car engine oil, it will char in the process of use and produce impurities such as gums, sludge, etc. It will not only lose its lubrication and protection effect, but it will also block dry bottles (bars), expansion valves and other components in refrigeration components. Directly lead to a great drop in cooling efficiency, fuel consumption increases, serious is the compressor and other parts of the damage, resulting in high maintenance costs of air conditioning.
