Hitachi Automotive Parts Production and R&D Base Settled in Guangzhou

According to a Guangzhou Daily report, on December 5, the signing ceremony for the Hitachi Auto Parts Production and R&D Base project in Guangzhou Zengcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone was held in Guangzhou Building. The project totaled about 1 billion yuan. It was completed and put into operation in March 2013. The annual output value reached 1.5 billion to 2 billion yuan, and the annual tax contribution is about 100 million yuan.

As early as July of this year, Guangzhou Mayor Wan Qingliang was entrusted by Wang Yang, Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, and led a Guangdong economic and trade delegation to Japan to hold the “New Guangzhou·New Business Opportunity” during the “Guangdong Province Pearl River Delta Region and Japan Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference”. The Japan Promotion Conference settled in Guangzhou from the calendar of auto parts production and R&D base project was the result of the visit to Japan.

It is understood that the first phase of the Hitachi auto parts production and R&D base project in the Zengcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone has recently commenced construction, with a total investment of about RMB 1 billion. It was completed and put into operation in March 2013. At present, the land for the project has been determined, the bidding has been completed and the leveling work has been completed, and the improvement of the surrounding roads has also started simultaneously. The project will build a Hitachi Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. China auto parts production and R&D base. It will research and develop Hitachi’s most competitive auto engine control systems and driving control systems and other core components. The annual output value will reach 1.5 billion yuan. 2 billion yuan, annual tax contribution of about 100 million yuan. After the completion of the first phase of the project, the second phase of the project will be planned and constructed.
