Development of Aluminum Alloy and Composite Automotive Parts Forming Technology

According to the bulk non-ferrous net reprinted: Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology High-tech Division organized and held in Beijing the "12th Five-Year Plan" national science and technology support plan "aluminum alloy and its composite automotive parts sophisticated forming technology development and industrialization demonstration" project acceptance meeting. The project acceptance expert group and the project organization unit of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, the subject undertaking unit Beijing Nonferrous Metal Research Institute, and Wuxi Weifu Intermec Turbocharging Technology Co., Ltd. and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.

The project aimed at the lack of high-end advanced manufacturing technologies for auto parts in China, and developed key manufacturing technologies for semi-solid forming aluminum alloys and their composite materials and auto parts; built φ98mm and φ148mm pressure impeller products with an annual production capacity of 60,000 pieces each. Three semi-solid precision forming industry demonstration lines for 1 million rotor swashplate products; 319s aluminum alloy automotive turbocharger impeller products developed, and the average endurance life is 73% higher than that of casting pressure impellers, and has passed a number of well-known domestic and foreign companies. Validation, to achieve the application of the car; the development of automotive air-conditioning compressor Al-18% Si composite rotor swash plate products, continuous wear resistance test up to 1000 hours. The project completed the independent preparation and engineering application of engine turbocharger impeller and automotive air-conditioning compressor rotor swashplate, achieving a very good energy-saving emission reduction effect.
