BASF for commercial use of automotive coatings

Since the beginning of this year, BASF has started providing automotive primers and automotive finishing varnishes to Ford Otosan in Turkey. A few days ago, it has reached a further cooperation agreement with the company. Ford Otosan is the leading brand of Turkish cars, and it is also a major supplier of European commercial vehicles for Ford Motor Company.

In addition to supplying paints, BASF BASF also provides Forto Otosan with advanced coating processes and a professional technical maintenance team. Monika, head of BASF's European automotive business, said: “We are pleased to cooperate with Ford Otosan in the commercial vehicle industry for coating products. The quality and service are highly demanded. BASF can provide the best service guarantee for Ford Otosan.” In order to meet the needs of some new customers, BASF BASF has added a waterproof coating to Ford Otosan. The Ford Otosan paint department manager stated that the cooperation with BASF will provide customers with better products and services. Ford Otosan has Turkey's largest automotive R&D center and the highest R&D capital. Since 2005, Ford Otosan has been the top three automotive export company in Turkey. In 2012, Ford Otosan's cars and parts were exported to 5 continents worldwide. The 76 countries have become leaders of Turkey’s automotive exports.
