3) Classification of paint booths. The spray booths can be divided into two categories, dry and wet, depending on the way they remove paint mist and prevent dust from mixing. 1 dry painting room. It is characterized by its simple structure, low paint loss, high coating efficiency, reduced water treatment equipment due to non-use of water, and low cost, and is widely used by domestic small and medium-sized repair companies. 2 Wet spray booth. Wet spray booths are divided into four types: shower type, curtain type, text type, and rotary type. For high-grade automotive finishes, foreign countries often use text-based or water-based rotary spray booths, which are rarely used in China.

(2) Configuration of paint booth

2) Technical requirements for paint booths. 1 The paint room must be clean, dust-free, and air is strictly filtered. 2 baking temperature can meet the technical requirements of different coatings. 3 In the paint room, an exhaust device must be installed so that the solvent and decomposed substances that evaporate from the coating film during the drying process do not exceed a certain concentration, so as to prevent the drying speed, quality, and even explosion of the paint film. 4 Solvent-based paint wet film should be allowed to leave a certain period of time before drying, so that most of the solvent in the paint film volatilizes and leveling, can reduce the "orange peel", "pinhole" "blister" and other defects.

3) Classification of paint booths. According to different drying methods for paint film, paint room can be divided into drying type and irradiation curing type. 1 drying paint room. Drying paint room can be divided into natural convection, circulation fan convection and far infrared radiation type 3 kinds. At present, far-infrared radiation-type paint booths are widely used in domestic maintenance enterprises. The far-infrared radiation-type paint booths generally have a heating temperature range of 38-83°C. The far-infrared heating energy conversion mode is mainly heat radiation, so compared with the hot air circulation heating mode, the possibility of dust adhering to the paint surface is greatly reduced. (4) Configuration of spray gun
