JAC and Ricardo develop automotive thermal system engineering

Ricardo and JAC have announced that they are collaborating on thermal system engineering of passenger car equipment.

According to the cooperation agreement signed by the two companies, Ricardo will provide advanced thermal simulation and testing guidance for JAC and support the development of the latter's small gasoline engine passenger vehicles.

“If China’s leading automobile manufacturers such as JAC want to develop their own cars that meet international standards, they need to continuously enhance their own development capabilities, such as thermal system development.” said Dick Sing, president of Ricardo Asia Pacific, “Ricardo has the industry Leading engineering services and technologies, willing to provide technology transfer, will not only help our Chinese partners develop excellent cars at the present time, but will also help them enhance their capabilities and meet future needs."

As part of the cooperation project, Ricardo will also collaborate with JAC engineers in China and Ricardo offices in the United Kingdom to conduct training and provide technology transfer in this form. In this way, JAC will acquire professional knowledge and skills, which will help it conduct independent analysis and development of internal thermal systems in the future.
