According to reports, Japan's Lintianlianbu Co., Ltd. ranks first in the Japanese automotive interiors industry, ranking ninth in the world and supporting 4 million vehicles in Japan. On August 23 this year, Japan Lintianlianbu Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Automotive Group Co., Ltd. jointly invested to establish Guangzhou Linjun Automotive Interiors Co., Ltd., dedicated to the research, development, production, and sales of automotive trim products such as carpets. Guangzhou Honda, Guangzhou Toyota, Dongfeng and many other auto companies are supporting the production capacity of 400,000 sets at the initial stage. Among them, Japan Yachiyo Industry Co., Ltd. signed a land contract, invested 20 million US dollars to produce automotive plastic fuel tanks; Quanxing International Group Wuhan Wanxing Auto Parts Co., Ltd. invested 35 million US dollars.
Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone was founded in 1991. After 15 years of construction, the development zone has convenient transportation and complete infrastructure, which has formed a distinctive industrial characteristics. Dongfeng Motor Company, together with PSA Peugeot Citroën, Nissan Motor Co. of Japan, and Honda Motor Co. of Japan, form a joint venture in the development zone, and will form an annual production capacity of more than 1 million vehicles in the next five years.
