The project is expected to be completed and put into production in October this year, and the annual output value can reach 600 million yuan after being put into production.

Last week, Yufu Industrial Park, Liangjiang New Area, Chang'an Airport, an auto parts production project with an area of ​​50 acres and a factory site of 20,000 square meters, was opened. The opening of this project means that Changan Automobile began to extend from the production of vehicles to the automotive spare parts.

According to reports, the project will spend 200 million yuan, will produce auto sheet metal punch hydraulic, complete sets of oil and water, hydraulic back door struts, jacks and other auto parts parts. The products will be supported by Changan’s own brands, Changan Suzuki’s own brands and joint venture brands, which will further reduce the logistics costs of Chang’an Automobile and enhance the market competitiveness of the company. At the same time, it will also support the local important automobile manufacturers such as Lifan Group and Luan Group.

"Purchasing parts from outside will inevitably lead to freight and loss. For car companies, matching nearby facilities is more conducive to reducing costs." The average rate of auto parts local matching is about 70%, while the high-end electronic components only account for 20%~30%. In order to build a car, local companies often need to purchase parts and components in coastal areas. This not only increases the production cost of the company, but also limits the development of the automobile industry in Chongqing to the high end.
